Privacy Policy

Theory Road LLC (“Theory Road”, “we”, “our”) operates theoryroad.com and provides creative and performance advertising services to partner brands from Austin, Texas. This policy explains what data we collect from visitors of theoryroad.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who this policy covers

Visitors of theoryroad.com, anyone who contacts us via the website, and anyone who clicks one of our ads and lands on theoryroad.com. Engagements with partner brands are governed by a separate master service agreement; the data practices for those engagements are described in that agreement.

Data we collect

• Site analytics — page views, referrer, device type, country-level location, and a randomized visitor identifier via Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager.
• Ad-platform pixels — Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Reddit Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Outbrain Pixel may set first- and third-party cookies for attribution and retargeting when you visit pages we promote.
• Contact submissions — anything you voluntarily submit through a contact form on the site (name, email, message, company).
• Click attribution parameters — when you arrive via a Theory Road tracking link, we record click identifiers (fbclid, gclid, ttclid, etc.) to attribute the visit to the originating campaign.

How we use data

• Reply to inquiries and onboard new partner brands.
• Measure ad performance and attribute conversions to the campaigns and platforms that produced them.
• Build retargeting and lookalike audiences within ad platforms when we run paid promotion of theoryroad.com.
• Generate internal operational reports.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share visitor data with any third party other than the analytics, ad-platform, and infrastructure providers strictly needed to operate the site.

Retention

Contact submissions are retained for 24 months. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely. Upon a verified deletion request, we remove personally identifiable data within 30 days.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@theoryroad.com. See also our Data Deletion Instructions.

Cookie choices

Most ad-platform pixels can be disabled at the platform level (Meta’s ad preferences, Google Ad Settings, etc.) or by using your browser’s tracking-protection settings. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals where supported.
