Amazon account management: catalog, inventory, pricing, ads and account health in one team.
We run Amazon Seller Central accounts end to end for brands that would rather make product than chase flat files and inventory alerts.
Theory Road operates its own Professional Seller accounts with Brand Registry, holds the Buy Box at full price against resellers, and uses Vine, Subscribe and Save, A+ Content and Brand Stores on its own listings. For clients we take on the same work in one weekly rhythm: catalog and listing health, FBA inventory and capacity limits, pricing and the Buy Box, advertising in Campaign Manager, reviews and Vine, Account Health and policy, and one report that ties it together. You keep the account, the data and the final say on price and product.

Next: name, email and budget. That’s it.
Where Amazon Seller Central pays off, and where it stalls.
A Seller Central account is a set of systems that fail independently. The catalog can break when another seller or Amazon itself changes an attribute. FBA inventory is governed by capacity limits that shift with sales forecasts and inventory performance, and a stockout costs rank that takes weeks to rebuild. The Buy Box, which Amazon now calls the Featured Offer, moves with price, fulfillment and seller metrics. Ads, reviews and Account Health each sit on their own dashboards. Growth comes from keeping all of them in working order at once, every week, without anyone losing the thread.
Brands usually get stuck because the work is split across people who do not talk. A freelancer runs ads, the operations lead sends shipments when someone remembers, a designer updates images, and nobody opens Account Health until a listing is suppressed or a policy warning arrives. Ads keep spending on products that are about to stock out. Prices drift below what the brand intended, or above what Amazon considers competitive, and the Featured Offer disappears. Reporting is a screenshot of ad metrics, so the owner cannot tell whether the channel made money after referral and FBA fees.
We run the account on a fixed weekly cadence with one owner on our side. Monday is the numbers: Business Reports by ASIN, TACOS, Buy Box percentage and inventory weeks of cover. Midweek is the work: listing fixes, shipment plans against capacity limits, ad changes from the Search Term report, Vine enrollments and cases with Seller Support. Every week ends with Account Health checked and a short written update. You decide on price floors, new products and promotions, we run everything else, and each task has a named owner so nothing falls between people.

Amazon account management, scoped to the result.
Catalog and listing health
We monitor suppressed and stranded listings, fix attribute and variation problems, keep titles, bullets, images and A+ Content consistent, and open cases when catalog contributions overwrite your brand data.
FBA inventory and capacity planning
Weekly sell-through and weeks of cover by ASIN, shipment plans sized to your FBA capacity limits, and alerts before low inventory and aged inventory fees start to apply.
Pricing and Buy Box
We track Featured Offer percentage by ASIN, watch for new sellers on your listings, and keep price, coupons and deals inside the floor you set so margin survives every promotion.
Advertising management
Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display run in the same weekly rhythm, with budgets tied to inventory position and results judged on TACOS rather than ad metrics alone.
Reviews, Vine and Subscribe and Save
Vine enrollment for new or thin listings, the Request a Review button used within Amazon rules, Subscribe and Save on replenishable products, and review themes fed back to product.
Account Health and reporting
Weekly checks of the Account Health dashboard and Voice of the Customer, policy warning responses, and a monthly report of sales after fees, TACOS, Buy Box and inventory by ASIN.
Where Amazon Seller Central setups break.
The problems we are most often hired to fix, in the order they tend to cost money.
Advertising into a stockout
Ads keep spending while inventory runs down, the product goes out of stock, and the rank earned over months drops away. Rebuilding it costs more than the sales the extra ad spend brought in.
Ignoring capacity limits
Shipments are planned from a spreadsheet instead of the FBA capacity limits shown in Seller Central, so inventory gets stuck waiting or arrives too late for Prime Day and the Q4 peak.
Nobody owns Account Health
Policy warnings, listing complaints and Voice of the Customer flags sit unread because no one is assigned to them, until a listing is deactivated or the account rating drops into a risk band.
Reporting ad metrics as results
The monthly report shows ACOS and clicks but not sales after referral fees, FBA fees, storage fees and cost of goods, so the owner cannot tell whether Amazon is profitable at all.

From audit to running it.
Audit.
We review Business Reports, Account Health, inventory, fees, listings and ads, then hand you a written list of what is broken, what is costing money and the order we would fix it in.
Fix.
We clear suppressed listings, catalog errors and open health items first, then rebuild ads, set price floors and inventory targets, and enroll eligible products in Vine and Subscribe and Save.
Connect.
We wire Seller Central, the Ads API and your product costs into one weekly report, so ad spend, inventory and profit after fees are read together instead of in five tabs.
Run.
Weekly cadence of inventory, pricing, ads, listings and health checks with a written update, a monthly review of profit by ASIN, and a seasonal plan for Prime Day and Q4.
A good fit
- Brand owners with Brand Registry who want one team accountable for the whole Seller Central account, not five freelancers.
- Brands whose Amazon sales are meaningful but whose team spends its week firefighting listings, shipments and warnings.
- Companies that sell on their own Shopify store too and want pricing and content consistent across both.
- Owners who want profit after fees reported by ASIN every month, not just ad metrics.
Probably not a fit
- Sellers still validating a first product should learn Seller Central hands on before paying for full management.
- Arbitrage and wholesale resellers of other brands' products, since our method is built on Brand Registry tools.
- Brands selling to Amazon as a vendor through Vendor Central need our vendor page, not this one.
Pricing, plainly.
Selling on Amazon has a monthly Professional plan subscription, referral fees that vary by category, and FBA fulfillment and storage fees for products Amazon ships, plus low inventory and aged inventory fees in some situations. Brand Registry itself is free to enroll, and advertising is billed separately by Amazon at the bids you set. Our account management is scoped after a short call and a look at the account: a fixed-scope audit and cleanup first, then a monthly retainer sized to catalog size, channels and ad spend, month to month after an initial term. We never mark up ad spend or take a hidden cut of your sales.

Hiring help with Amazon Seller Central.
- Do you actually sell on Amazon yourselves?
- Yes. We run our own Amazon Professional Seller accounts with Brand Registry, use A+ Content, Brand Stores, Vine and Subscribe and Save on our own listings, and hold the Buy Box at full price against resellers. The processes we use on client accounts are the ones we run on our own money every week.
- Agency or an in-house Amazon manager?
- An in-house manager makes sense once the channel is large enough to justify a full salary and the person has depth across inventory, ads, catalog and policy, which is rare in one hire. An agency gives you that range from day one. Many brands start with us and later hire in-house, and we hand over documented processes when that happens.
- Who owns the Seller Central account?
- You do, always. We work as a user with the permissions you grant, and every listing, campaign, report and case stays in your account. We never ask for your primary login, and we set up two-step verification on our user access. If the engagement ends, you remove our user and everything stays in place.
- How do you get reviews without breaking Amazon rules?
- Only through channels Amazon allows: Vine for new or thin listings, the Request a Review button or equivalent automated requests, and a product and packaging that earn reviews on their own. We never offer incentives, ask only happy customers, or use review groups. Those break Amazon policy and put the whole account at risk.
- What does the weekly update include?
- Sales and units by ASIN against last week and last year, TACOS and ad changes made, Featured Offer percentage, weeks of inventory cover and shipments in progress, listing or catalog issues opened and closed, and anything new on the Account Health dashboard. It fits on one page and ends with the decisions we need from you.
- Can you fix a suppressed listing or a policy warning?
- Usually, yes. Most suppressions are missing attributes, image problems or pricing flags that we can correct directly. Policy warnings need a careful response, sometimes with invoices or documentation. We will tell you plainly what we can resolve and when something needs outside legal help. Amazon makes the final decision on any case.
