WordPress agency for design, speed and migration.
We build and repair WordPress sites for service businesses, law firms, clinics and product brands that want to own their website and edit it themselves.
Most of our new builds run on Next.js, but WordPress is often the right call: a team already knows the editor, the content library is large, or a plugin does a job nothing else does as well. When that is the case we build it properly, with a lean custom theme, Advanced Custom Fields for service and location pages, a short plugin list we can defend line by line, and hosting that passes Core Web Vitals. We also move sites onto and off WordPress with a complete 301 map so rankings survive the move.

How can we help you get found?
Next: name, email and budget. That’s it.
Where WordPress pays off, and where it stalls.
WordPress runs a huge share of the web because it is flexible and anyone can install it. That flexibility is also the problem. A typical small business site we open has a page builder, a theme that ships its own builder, three form plugins, two SEO plugins, a slider nobody uses and a caching plugin fighting the host's own cache. Each piece was a reasonable fix on the day it was added. Together they produce heavy pages, duplicated scripts and an admin area the owner is afraid to touch.
The places companies get stuck are predictable. Page builders like Elementor and Divi make editing easy but wrap every section in extra markup, CSS and JavaScript, so Largest Contentful Paint and Interaction to Next Paint suffer on phones. Abandoned plugins become the main security risk. Service and location pages get built by duplicating a page twenty times, so updating a phone number means twenty edits. And nobody is sure who owns the hosting account, the domain or the admin login when the last developer leaves.
We start by inventorying the site: every plugin, what it does, when it was last updated and whether anything else already does the job. Then we decide whether to repair or rebuild. A rebuild usually means a custom block theme or a light classic theme, ACF field groups and custom post types for services, locations and team members, one SEO plugin configured on purpose, and managed hosting with server caching. Ownership of every account goes to the client, and we document the site so the next person can maintain it.

- Organic search traffic

Every connection is built on your accounts and documented, so the data survives any change of vendor.
WordPress design, speed and migration, scoped to the result.
Custom theme builds
Lean custom themes built on the block editor or a light classic base, with ACF field groups and custom post types so your team edits structured fields instead of dragging layout blocks around.
Speed and Core Web Vitals repair
We measure field data in Search Console, then remove unused scripts, replace heavy builder sections, fix image sizing and fonts, and configure server caching until mobile pages pass LCP, INP and CLS.
Plugin audit and security hardening
Every plugin is listed, justified or removed. We update core and themes, add two-factor login, limit admin accounts, set up offsite backups and remove abandoned code that attackers target first.
Service and location page systems
Custom post types for services and service areas, with shared fields for pricing notes, FAQs and schema, so fifty pages stay consistent and one change updates every page that uses it.
Migrations to and from WordPress
Moves from Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or HubSpot CMS into WordPress, or out of WordPress to Next.js, with a crawled URL inventory, a complete 301 map, redirect testing and post-launch Search Console monitoring.
Care plans and hand-over
Monthly updates, uptime and security monitoring, backups and small content changes, or a documented hand-over to your in-house team with a recorded walkthrough of the admin and the theme.
Where WordPress setups break.
The problems we are most often hired to fix, in the order they tend to cost money.
Builder inside a builder
A theme like Divi or a multipurpose theme loads its own builder, then Elementor gets added on top. Every page now loads two frameworks of CSS and JavaScript, and mobile scores sink no matter how much caching is added.
Plugins nobody remembers installing
Old plugins that stopped receiving updates are the usual way small WordPress sites get hacked. We regularly find inactive plugins left installed, which are still exploitable if their files remain on the server.
Two SEO plugins at once
Yoast and Rank Math both installed, or an SEO plugin plus a theme that writes its own meta tags, produce duplicate titles, conflicting canonicals and two sitemaps that disagree about which pages exist.
Migration without a redirect map
Moving from Wix or another platform changes URL patterns. Without a page by page 301 map, old links and indexed pages return 404 errors and the rankings built over years drop within weeks.
WordPress, wired into the rest of the business.
Advanced Custom Fields
Structured fields and custom post types for services, locations, team and FAQs.
Gravity Forms
Reliable forms with conditional logic, webhooks and add-ons that post leads to a CRM.
Rank Math or Yoast SEO
One SEO plugin, configured for titles, canonicals, sitemaps and schema, never both together.
Google Tag Manager
Tags and GA4 events managed in one container instead of scattered plugin snippets.
HubSpot
Form submissions and page views tied to contacts through the HubSpot plugin or webhooks.
CallRail
Dynamic number insertion so phone calls are attributed to the page and campaign.
WP Engine and Kinsta
Managed WordPress hosting with server caching, staging sites and daily backups.
Cloudflare
DNS, CDN and firewall rules in front of the site to block bad bots.
From audit to running it.
Audit.
We crawl the site, pull Core Web Vitals field data, list every plugin and user, check hosting and backups, and confirm who owns the domain, hosting and admin accounts.
Repair or rebuild.
Based on the audit we either fix the current site in place or rebuild the theme, moving content into structured fields and cutting plugins to the ones that earn their place.
Connect.
Forms post to your CRM, calls route through tracking numbers, Tag Manager sends GA4 and Google Ads conversions, and Search Console and sitemaps are verified after every major change.
Run or hand over.
We keep the site on a monthly care plan with updates and monitoring, or hand over a documented site, a recorded walkthrough and admin access your own team controls.
A good fit
- Businesses whose team already edits in WordPress and wants a faster, cleaner site without learning a new system.
- Companies with a slow page builder site that fails Core Web Vitals on mobile and is losing leads to it.
- Owners moving from Wix or Squarespace who want to own their site, their hosting and their content outright.
- Multi-location or multi-service companies that need dozens of consistent service and location pages built from structured fields.
Probably not a fit
- Anyone looking for the cheapest template install; we build for speed and ownership, which takes more setup time.
- Complex web applications with logins, dashboards or heavy custom logic, which we would build in Next.js rather than WordPress.
Pricing, plainly.
WordPress itself is free, open source software. The real costs are hosting, which ranges from shared plans to managed WordPress hosts that charge by site and traffic, premium plugins that usually bill annually per site, and a theme license if you use a commercial theme. Our work is scoped after a short call. Audits and speed repairs are fixed-scope projects. New builds and migrations are quoted as a fixed project based on page count, templates and integrations. After launch you can keep us on a monthly care plan, month to month after an initial term, or take a documented hand-over.

Squarespace is the better choice when a business needs a clean site quickly and has no one to maintain it, while WordPress is the better choice when the website is a lead engine that needs custom tracking, forms and SEO control.

Hiring help with WordPress.
- Should we use Elementor or Divi, or a custom theme?
- Page builders make layout changes easy, but they add markup, CSS and scripts to every page, which hurts mobile speed. For most service businesses we build a light custom theme with structured fields for the content that changes, such as services, locations and FAQs, and keep layout decisions in the theme. Your team edits text, images and fields, and pages stay fast.
- How do you migrate a site from Wix to WordPress without losing rankings?
- We crawl the Wix site and export every indexed URL from Search Console, then build a page by page 301 map to the new WordPress URLs. Titles, headings, body copy and internal links carry over, images are re-optimized, and redirects are tested before DNS changes. After launch we watch Search Console coverage and fix any stray 404s the same week.
- Which plugins do we actually need?
- Usually fewer than you have. A typical build needs one SEO plugin, one forms plugin, a fields plugin such as Advanced Custom Fields, a security or login-protection tool, and whatever the host does not already provide for backups and caching. Anything beyond that has to earn its place, because every plugin is code that must be updated and can break or be exploited.
- When would you move us off WordPress?
- When the site has become an application: customer logins, quoting tools, dashboards or heavy integrations that plugins handle poorly. Also when the team never edits content and the site mostly needs to be fast and secure. In those cases we build in Next.js on Vercel with a headless or file-based content setup, and migrate with a complete redirect map.
- Who owns the site, hosting and domain?
- You do. We set up or transfer the hosting account, domain registrar, DNS and WordPress administrator login in your company's name, and we work through our own user accounts that you can remove at any time. The theme code is yours, stored in a repository you control, so you are never locked to us.
- Can you fix a hacked WordPress site?
- Yes. We take a copy of the site, find and remove injected code and rogue admin users, replace core and plugin files with clean versions, rotate every password and key, and check Search Console for security warnings. Then we close the hole, usually an outdated plugin or a weak login, and add monitoring so it does not happen again.
